PROJECT COMPLETE: new teaching block at The Canterbury Academy

Following the success of the full facade refurbishment at the Canterbury Academy, we were back on site in early January to install the windows, doors and curtain walling on the new building.

The scheme has provided the school with an additional 14 general teaching classrooms, a drama space and food technology classroom as well as two additional science labs and a new car park.

The new building is connected to the existing ‘John Tyler Building’ at ground floor level via a new semi glazed link corridor.

Working alongside Modus Construction Consultants, OSG Architecture and BEC Construction to deliver the project, we have selected Sapa's Dualframe 75 Si casement windows and the Stormframe STII commercial entrance doors. Sapa's Elegance 52 ST range of curtain walling has been selected for the stairwell areas.
