We've been on site at Norton Knatchbull School in Ashford since early January and are making great progress installing the windows, doors and curtain walling as well as the cladding.
Working on behalf of Logan Construction, the project is benefiting from our newly launched 'Integrated Facade Solution'. By contracting us to design, supply and install both the glazing and cladding elements on the building, we have taken full responsibility for the entire external facade. This is aimed at reducing the likelihood of miscommunication between the various trades usually involved on a building's facade which can severely delay a project's progress.
We're installing Sapa's Dualframe 75 Si casement windows, 202 commercial doors and also the Elegance 52 curtain walling system, all supplied by our fabricator, Wynda Components.
The cladding we have specified is a mix of grey, white and silver panels from both the Steni Colour range - a fibreglass reinforced polymer composite panel - and Rockpanel Xtreme range which has a rock wool based core with a surface coloured finish. The cladding panels were supplied by our fabricator partner, BBS Facades.
