Prima have now all but completed our works at Canterbury College BLK 18 for Morgan Sindall. The Scheme comprised the construction of 2 new teaching blocks - A new business school and a Sports Block for which Prima's scope of works was for the Design, Supply and Installation of the external glazing package.
The project called for a mix of different glazing systems to meet the various requirements and included the following; Aluminium Windows - Smart Aluminium Systems Alitherm 700 series, Aluminium Curtain walling - Senior Architectural Systems SMR800 & SCW+ depening on the structural requirements, Aluminium Doors - Senior Architectural Systems SPW500 thermally broken pivot doors and SFG non thermally broken pivot doors. All manufactured for us by our fabrication partner Window Logic. The Business School Main Entrance is fitted with Automatic sliding doors supplied by Record UK Ltd who also installed automatic opening gear to some of our other swing doors. With the new The Sports Hall we installed the "Sportsguard" steel door manufactured by Prima Doors. And we also installed the Vitral A74 rooflight
