Project Overview:
Elvington and Eythorne Community Primary School is a small village school located on the outskirts of Dover, Kent.
The work comprised of the adaption of the existing glazed facade to facilitate the installation of new DDA compliant door sets, the inclusion of steel columns to provide structural integrity, alterations to the external ground works, provision of heavy duty door stops/barriers, adaptations to the existing girls toilets including widening of doors, electrical, plumbing works and redecoration.
Working collaboratively with the project team, Consult Construct and the schools management team, the design and programme restrictions were discussed in detail to ensure the schools expectations and requirements were met.
This proactive approach ensured that the works were undertaken and completed within the half term holiday period ensuring there was no disruption to the school.
